MPI Transitional Facility Requirements

These Premises are a Transitional Facility approved under the Biosecurity Act 1993. By signing our entry register, you acknowledge to meet the requirements of the transitional facility and follow directions provided by our operator and staff to comply with transitional requirements (TFGEN 3.4).

Health and Safety

TSB Living has a duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act (Act) 2015 to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of visitors on our site.

• Please follow through with any safety instructions provided by our staff.
• In the event of an emergency, please exit the building through the nearest exit door. Emergency lightings are in place to guide you through to the nearest exit.
• Please ensure that you report any hazard, near miss or injury to the branch manager before you leave our premises.
• As a visitor, your actions should not lead to creating any risk or hazard to the staff and/or premises. If you believe that you plan to do any work that requires staff or customer restrictions, please do speak to the site manager before you begin any work.
• Please note if you are a contractor to carry out any works, please ensure that you have approval from the site manager for your attendance and that you have the right equipment, safety equipment, and cordoned-off area to carry out the works required.
• If you are a contractor carrying out works that require specialized skill or certification, TSB Living believes that you possess that skill and/or certification. If you are unable to complete the works to the standard required, please inform the site manager.
• High visibility clothing along with work safety boots are a must to enter our distribution centre.
• If you require to work at heights, you will require a working at heights license.
• No visitor or contractor is allowed to use our equipment, including our forklift, computers, scanners, height equipment, or any other TSB Living products for their use without prior approval by the site manager.
• Visitors/contractors must park in appropriate areas and should not block any of our exit pathways. Under no circumstances is a contractor allowed to drive into our distribution centre without the approval of our site manager.
• Visitors must follow through our H&S manual. For a copy of our manual and H&S policy, please reach out to our site manager.
• Visitors will not have access to our internet connection, workspaces, computers, and network without the approval of our site manager. Visitors must not misuse our internet connection, disclose confidential information, or take photographs of restricted areas. If they don't conform, they may be escorted out or face prosecution if appropriate.
• Visitors are allowed only during hours of operation. After-hours access is restricted and based on requirements subject to approval of the site manager.
• No children allowed inside the distribution centre at all times. No exception. Minimum age requirement to enter the distribution is 16 years of age with safety equipment.
• Contractors performing any particular work that involves drilling or penetrating our wall claddings or other parts of the building must refer to our asbestos register. No drilling or penetration is allowed into areas highlighted under the asbestos register.
• Visitor's accessing our premises must be onsite exclusively to complete their job duties and restricted from accessing information or intruding premises not required.
• Visitors must not try to proselytize employees, gather donations, or request participation in activities while on our premises. Any visitors who violate this policy may be escorted out.
• Courier drivers and truck drivers who are delivering and uplifting consignments must stay within their truck cabins at all times unless they are assisting with the loading and unloading of their trucks. At that point, they should wear hi-viz and safety shoes. They must remain near the truck and look out for hazards such as forklift operation.
• Please ensure you sign out using the visitors kiosk on your way out and report any hazards, injury, or any feedback you have in general.
